Abstract

Environmental issues such as plastic waste and access to clean water are serious challenges at
Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Al Hidayah Cikeusal, Serang. Poorly managed plastic waste pollutes the
school environment, creating an unpleasant sight and posing potential health risks. Meanwhile, the
lack of access to clean water affects the comfort and health of the school community, making it
essential to find immediate solutions. This community service program aims to provide
environmental education through activities such as workshops on plastic waste management,
the construction of infiltration wells, and environmental awareness campaigns. The implementation
methods include theoretical education explaining the impacts of plastic waste and the importance of
clean water, practical recycling of plastic waste, the construction of infiltration wells as a solution to
waterlogging, and environmental campaigns involving the entire school community. The results of
this program show an increase in students' awareness of plastic waste management, a reduction in
the amount of plastic waste in the school environment, and improved access to clean water through
the constructed infiltration wells. This program successfully created a cleaner, healthier, and more
environmentally friendly school environment while equipping students with the knowledge and skills
to sustain environmental conservation in the future.
