Meningkatkan Keperdulian Terhadap Lingkungan Melalui Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Pengelolaan Sampah Organik, Non-Organik serta B3 di SD Cendekia Islamic School

Abstract

The waste problem faced by the community is a difficult problem to solve. Lack of public awareness is a factor in increasing waste and garbage disposal, which will then become the main cause of flooding and cause various diseases. In fact, community involvement in caring about the waste problem has existed since early on. Starting from throwing garbage in its place to sorting organic and non-organic waste. For this reason, there needs to be socialization regarding waste management, which will ultimately increase public awareness of the importance of throwing garbage in its place. The purpose of Community Service is to socialize Organic and Inorganic Waste Management and up to the Creation of a Waste Bank in the Cendekia Islamic School environment. The stages carried out in this service activity are the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage which includes the application of lecture, demonstration and discussion methods. The results of the implementation of community service activities that have been carried out, namely the activities carried out by community service activities are conveying ideas or thoughts in carrying out this activity to students and teachers. With this service, it can increase student knowledge and empower students in managing inorganic and organic waste. Through this socialization, it is hoped that it can increase student awareness at least in waste disposal and waste sorting.
